PROVERTHA’s CAN bus connector portfolio covers a variety of solutions with different cable exits and attachments for a wide application spectrum. With the plug & play M12 CAN bus connectors, function-safe and failure-resistant connections can be realized within seconds. Available are versions with the shielding on pin 1 or via the housing.

The CAN bus connector program also comprises versions with internal or external cable clamp. Due to their full-metal housing with 360° shielding, models with internal cable camp are ideally suited for safe field assembly in hostile environments. Versions with external cable clamp also accommodate special cables with larger diameters such as drag chain cabling.

For applications with elevated requirements on cable strain relief and shielding attachment, PROVERTHA also offers CAN bus connectors with crimp flange.

Noteworthy among the features of PROVERTHA’s 100% tested, high-quality CAN bus components is the shielded zinc die-cast housing for high EMI/RFI safety. Available are the variants Axial (cable exit 180° to mating direction), Compact (90°), and Special (35°). Bus termination is done by a robust external operation lever. A second D-Sub connector offers programming and diagnostic options. The connectors are locked with UNC 4-40 knurled screws.

The three housing versions cover virtually all application possibilities. Axial e.g. perfectly fits applications with two interfaces positioned directly one above the other. Compact can be used in situations with very small mounting depth.  Special models are suitable for a multitude of deployments.

To further secure high product quality, the connectors are tested by a certified independent institute on a regular basis. As an example, PROVERTHA’s Plug & Play M12 CAN bus connectors provided excellent measurement data.
