PROVERTHA‘s new high performance M12 DRIVE-CLiQ connectors were developed specifically for the efficient Ethernet-based system interface DRIVE-CLiQ from SIEMENS. They guarantee a reliable data transfer between frequency inverters, rotary encoders, sensors as well as the SINUMERIK and SINAMICS drive components.

The 8-pole M12 DRIVE-CLiQ connectors have A-coding and are custom-fit for the SIEMENS DRIVE-CLiQ line MOTION-CONNECT 800PLUS. The connectors have 4 AWG26-contacts for Ethernet and 2 AWG 22-contacts for the supply voltage to support the combined transfer of Ethernet and supply.

Convincing: Reliable data transfer

The HF-dense die-cast housing of the cable connectors and the 360°-shielding by means of a crimp flange/crimp sleeve system guarantee a reliable data transfer in rough, critical industrial environments.

The crimp flange/crimp sleeve system with hexagonal crimp guarantees maximum reliability during increased demands to the cable strain relief and the shielding – in particular for uses with fast or rotating movements (i.e. robots and tool machines) and vibrations (i.e. in tool machines or presses). Additionally, the assembled connector is secured with a “lead sealing“ due to the hexagonal crimp of the undetachable crimp sleeves. Therefore the manufacture of the bus connector cannot be changed without damage.
