Our M8 product portfolio was expanded to include versions made of stainless steel (V4A). A-coded and with crimp flange, the connector is optimized, among other things, for use in medical technology and the food industry. Other features: 360° shielding, vibration and torsion safety and resistance to corrosion.

When it comes to functionality and safety, you should not have to compromise – that’s why we’ve launched our M8 stainless steel connector. It is extremely robust and vibration-resistant, allowing you to transfer data safely and smoothly, even in harsh industrial environments.

Scopes of application:

The scopes of application of our M8 connector in stainless steel usually place special requirements on all components in terms of hygiene, cleanliness and corrosion resistance. Our M8 V4A was developed especially for demanding industrial environments and therefore fulfills these specified requirements. It can be treated with common detergents and disinfectants without any difficulty. Contact with salt water doesn’t cause any problems either. In addition, the plastics used are certified according to EN 45545-2 for railway applications.

What else distinguishes the M8 stainless steel connectors from others? In addition to their high robustness, they impress with their torsional and vibration safety, shock resistance and resistance to corrosion. As a result, they are often used in demanding industrial Ethernet networks, such as EtherCAT, for reliable data transmission. Few components allow a simple installation in the field. The connectors cover a temperature range of -20 °C to +85 °C. Other specifications include a rated current of 4 A and at least 200 mating cycles. Thanks to their compact dimensions, the PROVERTHA M8 V4A connectors ensure secure connections even in confined spaces.
